Creating a more attractive leasing prospect for tenants
BSK Projects was asked to help create a ‘speculative fit-out’ of an office suite within a large commercial complex in Canberra. Our client was the landlord, whose aim was to give himself an edge over the competition in the very competitive world of commercial property.
We were asked to liaise with the client’s real estate agent to understand what features are currently in demand in the Canberra office market. Based on this feedback, we then had to prepare a project and design brief and oversee project management, procurement and construction management. The challenge was to accomplish all this on budget and within a very short timeframe.
Again, we were working in a live environment and so had to be conscious of noise management specifically, while co-operating closely with the facilities manager. Our flexible approach to all assigned tasks meant we able to achieve all objectives and deliver the project on time and within the agreed budget. As the saying goes, you have to speculate to accumulate!
